Dan has been a professional guitar teacher for over 30 years. Classically trained he completed his Royal Conservatory Grade 10 with honors, along with the Grade 5 examinations in Theory with honors (Harmony, History, Counterpoint & Analysis). Dan has the ability to teach all styles of guitar to all age groups including basic guitar skills to beginners. He is proficient in all aspects of playing the guitar (e.g., music theory, proper technique best practices, and other advanced concepts). He has a special interest in teaching classical guitar repertoire. Initially, Dan spent many years as a rock electric guitarist and then transitioned into classical music. He has performed with numerous local rock bands, and has also played as a classical guitarist.
